DALL1 - Vintage Japanese style dressing gown / robe. Circa 1950s

This is a special piece.  In fact, there is not one like it selling online anywhere in the world right now.

Circa 1950s and likely custom made.  It features a rich scene of flowers, Pagoda temples, shrubs and trees. A sturdy, heavy fabric with a satin-like lining, 

Ties on the inside with an internal tie and on the outside with a single metal snap and belted tie.

Truly stunning!  Minor flaws include slight discoloration at back of neck and back of belt (both noted in the photos).  There is a tiny pinhole in the inner lining and a small mark.  For its age, it is in amazing condition.  No colour fading at all.

Please note, this has the typical vintage aroma and would do well to be cleaned professionally by someone with knowledge in this fabric. I have deodorized it to the best of my ability.
